Before you can run Ultima VII: The Feudal Lands you need to have the latest 1.4.x snapshot of Exult.

Download Windows Exult 1.4.x CVS Snapshot Binary from Sourceforge.net.

v0.1 Alpha Release

The v0.1 Alpha Release is now available!  In a few different formats, even

• WIN32 Installer – here (3.96 MB) – Made with NSIS and compatible with any version of Windows past 98.  Simply follow the prompts and it should install the mod properly as long as you give it the proper information.
• 7Zip SFX archive file – here (5.71 MB) – The entire TFL repository compressed with the PPMd method for maximum compression in a SFX archive that can extract itself.  Unzip under a “mods” directory in your BG install.  IE. C:\ultima\bg\mods\ or /<home>/ultima/bg/mods/ etc.
• RAR archive file – here (7.32 MB) – The entire TFL repository compressed with the RAR format, a popular Windows archiver. Unzip under a “mods” directory in your BG install.  IE. C:\ultima\bg\mods\ or /<home>/ultima/bg/mods/ etc.
• Tarball archive file – here (6.2 MB) – The entire TFL repository compressed in a Tarball, popularly used by UNIX and LINUX operating systems. Unzip in a “mods” directory in your BG install.  IE. C:\ultima\bg\mods\ or /<home>/ultima/bg/mods/ etc.

Snapshots

Every now and again Wizardry Dragon releases an installer with the current CVS state of The Feudal Lands. This may or may not work, as it is a development version of The Feudal Lands. Use at your own risk!
